Engraved stainless steel plaque signs in London
Engraving your name in a sign makes your business timeless
engrave your name on a stainless steel sign to create the impression of stability and quality, which of course, rubs off on you.
Engraving a plaque in stainless steel or brass is very straightforward.
You decide the size of the plaque and depth .7- 3mm.
then send the artwork as an EPS outline file created in illustrator (ideally saved as compatible with version 8 of illustrator) in Illustrator click the text and then under 'file' click ' create outlines' and your done!
brass needs polishing every fortnight with brasso and a clean cloth. stainless steel takes care of itself mainly.
Then we acid etch the plaque - the acid eats into the surface of the plaque and then we ink fill the areas - using a signmakers enamel like paint.
You decide whether you have counter sunk screws or raised wall mounted fittings to set the plaque away from the wall 10-20mm.
We also offer welding fittings on the reverse of the plaque or apply VHP super strong exterior adhesive so that the plaque has no visible fittings.
